Rose Neumayr has over 18 years of experience teaching students age 5-85. Currently residing in the North Orange County area, Rose provides music instruction to elementary, middle and high school clarinet students. Rose is a full time instrumental music teacher in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District and has taught at elementary, middle, and high schools within the district.
Rose grew up in Chico, California and graduated with a B.A. in Music from California State University, Chico. She has coached clarinet students and sections in the greater Northern California area for honor bands and school music programs. She has performed in concert bands, jazz bands, chamber groups, operas, and has performed with musicians including John Manasse, Greg Gisbert, Paul Romaine, and Joseph Alessi. While attending CSU Chico, Rose was principal clarinet for the Wind Ensemble, as well as playing alto and bari sax in Jazz II. Rose has also enjoyed performing with the Children's Choir of Chico and at special events for the North State Symphony's Chico Guild.
With close to two decades of teaching experience, Rose has established a thorough teaching style and is able to tailor instruction to best fit each individual student's needs.
